November:

17th-20th - Annual Friend's Corner Craft Show in Gorham - 35th Annual Friend's Corner Craft Show featuring 50 Maine artisans. The barn is filled with a large variety of gift items and original designs for sale. Hours are Nov. 17 (Thursday) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., , Nov. 18 (Friday) noon to 6 p.m., Nov. 19 (Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Nov. 20 (Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
19th-20th - Annual Christmas Craft Show at Stevens Avenue Armory.in Portland -18th Annual Christmas Craft Show at the Stevens Avenue Armory, 772 Stevens Avenue. Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This two-day show includes artisans and craftsmen from Maine and the New England area and features jewelry, photography, fine art, quilting, baskets, gift baskets, herbs, soaps and personal care items, finished and unfinished wood, clothing and toys, fashion accessories, pottery, gourmet fudge, jams and jellies and much more.
25th - Portland Annual Tree Lighting - Come see the spectacular lighting of the tree at this annual tradition! Come down to Monument Square in Portland to enjoy musical entertainment and of course Santa's arrival by Portland Fire Department truck to help light the amazing tree. For info phone (207) 772-6828.
25th-26th - Christmas in the Country Craft Fair - Bonny Eagle High School in Standish. - The Christmas in the Country Craft Fair features exclusively handmade crafts including: jewelry, ceramics, stained glass, paintings, ornaments, candles, quilts, specialty foods, and much, much more. The fair is sponsored by the Trustees of the Old Red Church in Standish, Maine, and serves as the organizations largest fundraising event. It is held at Bonny Eagle High School at 700 Saco Road on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m
26th - 28th Annual Christmas in Kennebunk Tree Lighting. Join us for the 28th annual Christmas in Kennebunk celebration taking place this year on Saturday, November 26th in Kennebunk's Downtown Plaza area at 5 p.m. There will be caroling by the Kennebunk High School Chamber Choir. Refreshments provided by merchants and friends.
27th - Gorham Tree Lighting and Light Parade. - Bring your non-perishable foods to the parade route along Main Street. Volunteers will collect food items for Gorham Food Pantry during the parade. Parade at 4 p.m. Tree Lighting after the parade at about 4:30 p.m.
DECEMBER:

1-12th - Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport - Christmas Prelude in Kennbunkport is a magical season of shopping and special events including champagne reception, candlelight caroling, tree lighting, arts and crafts shows, pancake breakfast, lobster bake, the arrival of Santa by lobster boat and much more. For info see the online schedule at the Title link above. Note that events are on Dec. 1, 2, 3, 4 and Dec. 9, 10, 11.
2-4th - Sparkle Weekend in Freeport - Sparkle Weekend in Freeport is a full weekend of holiday fun for your entire family. Festivities kick off on Friday night December 2nd at 6 p.m. with the famous Sparkle Parade of Lights. It takes an entire village to bring the Talking Tree to life during the Sparkle Parade. Sparkle festivities continue into Saturday December 3rd with yummy free hot chocolate for all, old fashioned horse drawn carriage rides, the world famous Tuba Concert at 2 p.m. at the Freeport Performing Arts Center, holiday sales and markets galore, visits with Santa and the Famous Freeport Talking Tree continue throughout the weekend. On Sunday December 4th enjoy all of the fun festivies as the weekend continues and participate in the Jingle Bell Run right down Main Street in Freeport!
